Tan Ly Dong Caodai parish under the Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Tien Giang province’s Chau Thanh district held on March 10 a solemn ceremony for consecrating the Divine Eye worshipping symbol.

The event saw the presence of Cardinal President of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Executive Committee Thượng Tám Thanh, Priest Chairman of the provincial Caodai Representative Committee Thái Sỹ Thanh and about 500 members from 29 parishes of the Caodai Church in the locality.
Local guests at the event included Chairman of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Đỗ Tấn Hùng and Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần văn Khuê.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman Trần Văn Khuê highly appreciated practical contributions made by the Caodai parish for Covid-19 prevention work in the locality. As reported, the parish has postponed the installing ceremony thrice due to the pandemic spread and proactively donated essentials and facemasks to people in restricted areas in the province.
The oratory of Tan Ly Dong Caodai parish was rebuilt in 2017 and will be completed in 2024.
