The Buu Son Ky Huong Faith in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province held on November 27 its 4th congress, on occasion of the 216th birthday anniversary of the founding Master Tây An (1807-2023).
Executive committee for 2023-2028 tenure makes its debut
Attending the event taking place in Chau Duc district’s Nghia Thanh commune of the province included representatives of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Commission for Mass Mobilization in the province and local authorities, religious dignitaries of other religions, and over 300 members of Buu Son Ky Huong faith.
The 4th congress selected nine members to the Buu Son Ky Huong Faith’s Executive Committee, with Rev. Trần Văn Nuôi reelected as Chairman of the Executive Committee for the 2023-2028 tenure.
As reported at the event, in the 2018-2023 tenure, the Buu Son Ky Huong Faith in the province has spent over 500 million VND on social charities for helping disadvantaged people and supporting poor students in the locality.
