The steering committee for human rights and religion in Ha Giang province held on October 7 a training workshop on human rights and religion for local officals in the province.
The meeting was chaired by Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee cum Head of the provincial steering committee for human rights and religion Nguyễn Văn Sơn.
The event also saw the presence of Director of the Department for Buddhist affairs under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Bùi Hữu Dược, members of the steering committee, and heads of the district-level authorities in the province.
The one-day event covered contents including guidelines and policies of the State and Party on human rights and religions.
