A delegation of An Giang province Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) committee led by Vice Chairman Trương Hoàng Trọng paid on April 11 visits to several prestigious Khmer individuals in the province on occasion of Chol Chnam Thmay (traditional New Year) festival.
During the visits, Vice Chairman Trương Hoàng Trọng extended a happy and successful new year to all Khmer Buddhists and people, and praised Khmer dignitaries for their efforts in encouraging Khmer communities to well implement State policies and laws and actively participate in movements launched by local authorities.
Vice Chairman Trương Hoàng Trọng also expressed hope that Khmer community in the province would continue upholding fine traditions and making further contributions to the socio-economic development in the locality.
