The performance of the ethnic-religious consultative council under the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee in the northern province of Quang Ninh in 2020 has been reviewed at a meeting held on December 9.
Present at the event included Vice Chairman of the VFF committee Hoàng Đức Hạnh and seven members of the ethnic and religious consultative council selected for the 2019-2024 tenure.
As reported, the seven-member ethnic & religious consultative council for 2019-2024 in Quang Ninh made its debut in January 2020, with personnel selected from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Chapter in the province, Mao Khe Catholic Parish and concerning provincial departments and agencies, and headed by former Vice Chairman of the provincial VFF committee Phạm Hùng Sơn.
