A delegation led by Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in the central province of Ha Tinh Trần Nhật Tân paid on November 9 visits to Catholic parishes in the locality on occasion of the National Solidarity Day (November 18).
During the visits to parishes of Chan Thanh (in Ha Tinh provincial city’s Thach Trung commune), Thu Chi (in Thach Ha district’s Thach Lac commune) and Van Thanh (in Cam Xuyen district’s Cam Thach commune), Chairman Trần Nhật Tân extended warm greetings to local Catholic parishes and parishioners, and highly appreciated their practical contributions in promoting social cohesion, national solidarity and fine values of Catholicism over the past years.
In the context of ongoing complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, the local VFF official asked the management board of Catholic parishes to strengthen the communication work on preventive measures, including the 5K message, for preventing the pandemic spread./.
