Religious dignitaries and deacons in An Giang province’s Cho Moi district have attended a meeting held on January 21 by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in the district.
Attending the meeting taken place ahead of the 91st founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2021) and the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2021 included Deputy Secretary of the district Party’s Committee Hà Minh Trang and over 140 participants who are religious dignitaries and deacons of local religious organizations, representatives from belief establishments, ethnic communities, and construction teams building charity houses in the district.
During the event, Deputy Secretary Hà Minh Trang praised collaborations of participating religious elites, ethnic people and charitable teams and individuals over the past years and called on religious and ethnic communities to continue promoting their role in motivating people to actively participate in social movements and programs launched by local authorities for socio-economic development of the city.
