The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) committee in Binh Duong province’s Thuan An provincial city held on January 12 the annual meeting with representatives of religious and ethnic communities.
The meeting saw the attendance of representatives from provincial home affairs, committee for religious affairs, VFF committee and Thuan An authorities and over 100 religious dignitaries and deacons and key ethnic people of religious organizations and ethnic groups in the locality.
The one-day meeting focused on discussion of religious, ethnic issues as well as the coordination between the district-level VFF committee and religious organizations and ethnic groups in 2017.
Curently, Thuan An is home to over 21.000 religious followers of Buddhism, Catholicism, Caodai and Protestantism.

On the occasion, Thuan An authorities presented certificates of merit to seven groups and 15 individuals from local religious organizations and ethnic groups with outstanding contributions to religious, ethnic affairs in 2017.
