Vice Chairman cum Secretary General of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Hầu A Lềnh chaired on April 15 an exchange meeting with religious dignitaries from the South.
During the meeting taking place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vice Chairman Hầu A Lềnh briefed religious dignitaries present social, economic and security situation in Vietnam and the implementation of the VFF’s annual working program in the first quarter of 2018.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Hầu A Lềnh praised contributions of religious dignitaries and followers to the cause of building and defending the country. To ensure the enforcement of the Law on Belief and Religion, the Vice Chairman suggested religious dignitaries to uphold their roles in disseminating the religious law to religious followers and reflect any limitation or practical issues remaining during the implementation of the religious law for appropriate adjustments.
