Speaking with the religious guests, Vice President Ngô Sách Thực shared that the VFF central committee has committed, through its program of actions, to promote fine moral values of religions, as these values demonstrate compassion, love and mutual support, practically contributing to especially help the poor and the disadvantaged in localities throughout the country.

The VFF official also expressed hope that the religious dignitaries would encourage followers of religions to proactively participate in social movements and programs for socio-economic development in the province.

According to Vice Chairwoman of the VFF committee in Binh Dinh Nguyễn Thị Đàng, the province is currently home to over 173,000 followers of nine religions, accounting for 11.44% of the province population.

She also informed that religious organizations in the province have made practical contributions to the socio-econmic development in the locality through social charities and activities for environmental protection and climate change adaptation, etc.
