President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Đỗ Văn Chiến hosted on April 22 a reception for a visiting delegation of the Islamic community in the central province of Ninh Thuan.
During the visiting reception, Chairman of the Islamic Representative Committee in Ninh Thuan Thành Thanh Tâm informed the host of the social and religious activities of the Islamic community over the past years, and stated that the Islamic representative committee has encouraged Muslims to proactively engage in environment protection, make practical contributions for helping disadvantaged people, and strictly observe prevention measures against Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking with the guests, while extending congratulations to Muslims on occasion of Ramadan, President Đỗ Văn Chiến spoke highly of practical contributions by Muslim followers for socio-economic development in localities.
The VFF leader also expressed hope that the representative committees of Islamic community in Ninh Thuan would continue encouraging Muslims to actively engage in patriotic movements and the upcoming elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and all-level People’s Councils for the 2021-2026 tenure.
