Large numbers of dignitaries and deacons of religious organizations from eight provinces and cities in the Red River Delta have attended a training workshop on climate change held in Hanoi from December 17-18.
The workshop was held by the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
The training workshop focused on undated information on activities for climate change response in Vietnam and best models and practices for reducing impacts of climate change as well as environmental protection by religious organizations nationwide.

As reported, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and about 40 religious organizations have been implementing the coordination program on environmental protection and climate change response signed for the 2015-2020 period.
The training is also part of the implementation of the plan for climate change and green development targets set for the 2016-2020 period./.
