The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Quang Ninh province’s Ha Long city held on August 8 a training on religious and ethnic affairs.
The event drew the participation of 140 local cadres and civil servants tasked with religious and ethnic affairs in 33 wards and communes of the city.
The one-day training focused key contents on the Party’s guidelines on religious affairs, updated information on the current religious and ethnic life in the country, the renewed contents and modes of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in religious affairs, promoting roles of prestigious people and village elders in the movement "All people protect national security".
In addition, the training also provided professional skills for the communication and advocacy work amongst religious and ethnic communities on the Party's guidelines and the State’s policies on religion and ethnicity.
