The Party Commission for Mass Mobilization in Hai Phong city held on November 8 a training conference on practical issues in dealing with religious organizations.

The event taking place at To Hieu Political School saw the participation of Chairman of the city Party Commission for Mass Mobilization Lê Trí Vũ, deputy heads of the district-level party cells, officials and cadres from the district-level Party commission for mass mobilization and heads of the commune-level Party commission for mass mobilization in Hai Phong city.

Hai Phong city currently has four operative religions of Buddhism, Catholicism, Caodaism and Protestantism with 739 religious worshipping places, one religious training institution, 521 religious dignitaries, 1,394 deacons and over 41,000 lay followers (accounting for 21% the city population)
