The Ministry of Information and Communication held on July 1 a training conference on professional skills in communicating ethnic and religious policies for journalists in Ho Chi Minh City.

The training is part of the project approved by the Prime Minister for supporting information and propaganda on ethnicity and religion, and the plan of Information and Communication Ministry for the project implementation in disseminating laws on ethnicity and religion for reporters and editors of central and local newspapers and news agencies.
Speaking at the training, Deputy Director of the Legislation Department under the Information and Communication Ministry Hồ Hồng Hải expressed hope that the training would help enhancing knowledge of journalists on ethnicity and religion, as well as the collaboration between state management agencies and news agencies in order to foster the efficiency of the communication work on ethnicity and religion.

During the training, Deputy Director of Propaganda Department under the Ethnic Minority Affairs Committee Đinh Xuân Thắng presented contents on the Party and State’ policies and laws on ethnicity, and Head of Scientific Management Board of Institute for Journalism and Communication presented contents on professional skills on propaganda the State’s policies and laws on religion.
