The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee held on October 15 a training conference on environment protection and climate change adaptation for key religious in Kon Tum province.
The event drew the presence of Head of the Religious Affairs Board under the VFF Nguyễn Văn Thanh, Deputy Head of the Climate Change Department under the Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment Phạm Văn Tấn and large numbers of religious dignitaries and deacons in the province.
The event covered updated information climate change, strategies, policies and action plans for climate change response, the coordinate program for promoting religious engagement in climate change adaption.
In addition, the training provided exchanges of practical experiences and action plans for environment protection and climate change response in Kon Tum province launched by religious worshipping places in localities.
