Six disseminating conferences on ethnic and religious laws for Khmer dignitaries shall be held on January 10-21 in Tra Vinh province.
The conferences planed with the participation of over 850 delegates who are monks, abbots, heads of 143 Khmer Buddhist pagodas will be organized by the provincial Ethnic Affairs board in collaboration with the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education and the provincial Association of patriotic monks.
The conferences shall focus on ethnic and religious issues and policies of Vietnam, including the Party’s viewpoints and President Ho Chi Minh’s thought as well as functions and tasks of abbots, regulations for the Khmer Buddhist pagodas’ management board, and teachers and students of the Buddhist schools.
