A delegation from Tien Giang provincial authorities led by Chairman of the provincial Party Commission for Mass Mobilization Đỗ Tấn Hùng paid on December 21 Christmas visits to Christian organizations in the province.
Christmas visit to My Tho diocese’s office
The delegation visited My Tho diocese’s office, the provincial Committee for Solidarity of Catholic, the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres Congregation, and the provincial representative committee of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South).
During the visits, while extending merry Christmas to local Christian dignitaries and lay followers, Chairman Đỗ Tấn Hùng highly appreciated their practical contributions though social and charitable programs for the socio-economic development in the locality. He expressed hope that local Christian dignitaries would continue guiding lay followers to conduct religious practices in accordance with the law and make practical contributions for sustainable development in the locality.
