Thanh Hoa strictly implements Covid-19 preventive measures in worshipping places

Thanh Hoa has over 1,500 worshipping places and many traditional festivals, attracting both locals and visitors over the country in early spring.

This year, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, local authorities of the province have canceled organizing festivals with crowded gatherings of people and only allowed worshipping rituals with a strict implementation of measures to prevent Covid-19.

At Cua Dat temple located in the province’s Thuong Xuan district, the number of visitors has decreased by two-thirds as compared to the same period of 2020. Right from the entrance of the temple, participants have been checked for preventing large gatherings, and competent authorities have promoted communication work on measures for Covid-19 epidemic prevention including wearing masks and washing hands with antiseptic when coming to the temple.

The number of visitors coming to Nua – Am Tien temple has decreased significantly as compared to last years

According to management boards of national historical and cultural relic sites such as Nua - Am Tien temple, Doc Cuoc temple, Song Son temple, the number of visitors this year only accounts for more than 10% compared to last years, due to the Covid-19 epidemic.

To ensure the epidemic prevention, relics’ management boards have freely distributed thousands of masks and antiseptic solutions to visitors, preventing visitors from entering and leaving the relics without wearing masks and hand washing.

Most visitors have been instructed to go out in a different way after offering incense, with no more than 30 people each turn.

In addition, all activities with large gatherings of people including mass prayers, Van singing are prohibited, etc.
