The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s chapter in Thanh Hoa city in collaboration with the municipal Public Security held on July 19 a communicating session on traffic safety laws for 480 monks, nuns and lay Buddhists participating in the summer Buddhist retreat course taking place in Truc Lam Ham Rong Zen Monastery.
The event was part of a coordinating program between the VBS chapter in Thanh Hoa province and the provincial Public Security for the 2023-2026 period.
The event provided key contents of Law on Road Traffic as well as illustrations of situations causing traffic insecurity and safe traffic skills.

Earlier, the VBS chapter in Nong Cong district in collaboration with the district Traffic Police Team has organized a similar communicating session on traffic safety laws for nearly 700 participants attending the 14th summer Buddhist course in the province taking place in Linh Son monastery.
In the coming weeks, the VBS chapters in districts, towns and provincial city continues coordinating with the traffic police force of Thanh Hoa province to incorporate into Buddhist preaching programs contents relating traffic safety and launch practical models ensuring traffic safety for monks, nuns and lay Buddhists in the locality.
