An inspection delegation led by Chairman of the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization of Thai Nguyen province Dương Văn Tiến held on August 4 a meeting with Phu Luong district authorities on the implementation of the provincial Party’s Resolution 06-NQ/TU on the State administration on religion.
According to a report of Phu Luong district authorities, in implementing Resolution 06-NQ/TU, awareness and responsibility of local authorities at all levels, officials, party members, especially heads of local Party committees, governments, Fatherland front committees have been raised. The political system in religious areas have regularly been consolidated; the political security and social order in these areas have also been sustained.
The tasks of the resolution have been effectively implemented with its targets basically achieved. Local authorities have paid due attention to strengthen key personnel in social movements and religious communities.
Addressing at the inspection meeting, Chairman Dương Văn Tiến asked Phu Luong district authorities to strengthen state administration on belief and religion, well implement ethnic and religious, step up social - economic development amongst religious communities, promote roles of key personnel and religious dignitaries and deacons for implementing religious policies and meeting legitimate needs of religious practices of local people.
