Tay Ninh provincial authorities extend greetings to Islamic community on occasion of Ramadan closing

Two delegations of Tay Ninh provincial authorities on May 11 visited and met with the representative committee for the Islamic community in the province and the management board of seven Islamic mosques in the locality, on occasion of the closing of Ramadan 2021.
The two delagations were led by Vice Chairman of the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyễn Văn Trung and Deputy Director of the provincial Department for Home Affairs Trần Minh Nay.
At the receptions, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Văn Trung and Deputy Director Trần Minh Nay highly appreciated practical contributions made by the Islamic community for the socio-economic development of the province, especially the close collaboration with local authorities in the Covid-19 epidemic prevention.
The provincial officials also expressed hope that Islamic dignitaries would guide celebrations of the Ramadan closing cheerfully and safely, and continue implementing anti Covid-19 epidemic measures, as well as strengthen the communication work on the upcoming election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Council at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure.
During the visitings, two provincial delegations presented 21 gift sets valued at 21 million VND in total to prestigious Muslims in the province.
