A delegation led by Vice Chairman of the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization in Tay Ninh province Nguyễn Văn Trung has paid visits to Khmer ethnic people on the occasion of Chol Chnam Thmay traditional festival.
The local official has visited Khmer ethnic people in three communes of Hoa Hiep, Tan Phong and Tan Lap, the management board of Chung Rut pagoda, and five prestigious people in the locality.
During the visits, while extending Chol Chnam Thmay greetings to Khmer ethnic people in the province, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Văn Trung highlighted practical contributions of Khmer monks and other prestigious people for socio-economic development in the province, as well as expressed hope that they would continue promoting their role in encouraging Khmer people to proactively engage in patriotic movements launched by the provincial authorities in the locality.
As reported, authorities of Tay Ninh province have paid four delegations to visit to Khmer and Ta Mun ethnic people, on the occasion traditional New Year of Chol Chnam Thmay 2023.
