Students of religious course at University of Social Sciences and Humanities visits An Giang province

A group of students and teachers of a religious studies course in the University of Social Sciences and Humanities under Hanoi National University paid a working visit on March 26 to An Giang province.

The group led by Assoc. Prof., Dr. Trần Thị Kim Oanh and Assoc. Prof., Dr. Lê Bá Trình was part of the bachelor-degree religious studies training based in Kien Giang province and Can Tho city.

During the visit, the group had an exchange meeting with Chairman of An Giang provincial Religious Affairs Committee Lê Nguyên Châu.

Chairman Lê Nguyên Châu shared with the research group the faith life as well as the state management on belief and religion in the province over the past years.

On the same day, the group also visited to some districts in the province for learning more about Islam, Hoa Hao Buddhism, Tu An Hieu Nghia and Temple of Ba Chua Xu Nui Sam (Goddess of Sam Mountain) located in the province.
