Over 300 dignitaries representing religious organizations in the southwestern province of Tay Ninh has attended a spring meeting held on February 22 by Tay Ninh provincial Department of Home Affairs.
Present at the event also included Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Nguyễn Thành Tâm, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Thanh Ngọc, Director of the home affair department Phan Văn Sử, Chairman of the provincial committee for Religious Affairs Võ Thành Công, and representatives of concerning provincial departments and agencies.
During the meeting, Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Thanh Ngọc briefed religious participants on results of socio-economic developments in 2017 and praised practical contributions by religions in the locality. He also took the chance to extend lunar New Year greetings to participating religious delegates.
