Located in the southeast of Vinh Phuc province, Yen Lac district is home to over 11,300 believers of Buddhism and Catholicism, with 61 worshiping places.
For the past years, religious locals have upheld fine traditions of unity as well as actively participated in patriotic emulation movements launched by the Yen Lac district authorities for hunger eradication, poverty reduction, socio-economic development and civilized lifestyles in residential areas.
According to a local report, religious believers in the locality have contributed over VND 5 billion for building 465 charitable houses, provided support for building and upgrading 14 martyrs cemetery, donating 1,780 savings books to families of veterans, martyrs and Vietnam heroic mothers, along with 1,3 billion VND donated to the fund for the poor.
