According to reports, religious organizations in Dong Thap province’s Lap Vo district contributed nearly 30 billion VND to the construction of the inter-village transport system in the locality in the 2015-2018 period.
Religious organizations have mobilized resources valued at 2.560 billion VND from followers and sponsors for constructing and completing three concrete bridges of Thien Phuoc, Long Thien and Van Thanh in communes of Hoi An Dong, Long Hung B and My An Hung B.
In addition, religious communities also set up four new groups for dealing with environmental protection and climate change adaptation issues in the locality.
