Soc Trang authorities held on July 9 a meeting to review ethnic and religious affairs in the first half of 2018.
The meeting saw the participation of Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Lâm Văn Mẫn, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Huỳnh Văn Sum and Head of the Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Hồ Thị Cẩm Đào.
As reported at the event, in the first six months of 2018, religious practices in the province and the restoration of worshipping places, ordination and conferment of religious dignitaries, organization of festivals, etc have been conducted in accordance with the state law.
