The seminar saw representatives from social sponsoring establishments run by religious organization and concerning department in the city.

During the seminar, issues relating the protection of freedom of religion and provision of nutritious food have been raised and discussed.

In addition, participants pointed out difficulties in obtaining birth certificates and residence registration and asked Ho Chi Minh City municipal Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to help solve remaining difficulties.

It has been reported at the seminar that sponsoring centers operated by religions in HCM City have provided well care and protection for disadvantaged children and most of the children in these establishments receive adequate nutrition and proper education./.
