A seminar of cultural and historical values of the relic site of Tran Vu temple – Cu Linh pagoda was held on April 2.

The event taking place at Tran Vu national relic site located in Thach Ban ward of Hanoi city’s Long Bien district drew the participation of a large number of researchers and scientists from the Cultural Heritage Department under the Culture, Sports and Tourism Ministry, the Institute of Sino-Nom Studies, and the Vietnamese Folklore Arts Association.
During the seminar, participating researchers delivered presentations affirming cultural and historical values of Tran Vu temple and Cu Linh pagoda, and put forward proposals and recommendations for the restoration and embellishment of the relic site in the 2020 - 2025 period.
Tran Vu temple was built under the reign of King Lê Thánh Tông (1460-1496). The relic site has preserved the statue of Huyen Thien Tran Vu which was recognized as a national treasure in 2016, and the "sitting tug of war" ritual was listed by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity in 2015.
