The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province held on January 8 a meeting for reviewing the emulation movement “Good life, good religion” amongst religious organizations in 2020 and launching the movement for 2021.
Joining the meeting included Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Phạm Viết Thanh, large numbers of religious dignitaries and representatives from the Fatherland Front of all levels in the province.
The event discussed the summary report on the emulation movement in 2020, draft contents of emulation amongst religions in 2021, the five-year implementation of the coordination on the environmental protection between the provincial Fatherland Front, the natural resources and environment department and religious organizations in the province, and launched the action plans for 2021.
During the event, 15 groups and 30 individuals who had outstanding contributions for the emulation movement in 2020 received recommendation certificates of the People’s Committee and the Fatherland Front Committee in the province.
