Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Women’s Union hosted a conference on September 12 for summing up the five-year implementation of a coordination program on mobilization work amongst religious women.
The event was organized in collaboration with the city’s Committee for Religious Affairs.
According to a conference report, the coordination program for implementing the State’s policies and laws on religions in the 2012-2017 period has achieved many good results through practical movements for taking care for women in difficult circumstances and encouraging women to strive for a better secular and religious life.
The city Women’s Union and the Committee of Religious Affairs also discussed and approved the coordination program for the next five years of 2017-2022.
