Religious practices in Dong Nai allowed to resume as normal

The People’s Committee in Dong Nai province has issued a dispatch on August 24 to departments, agencies, units, localities regarding the nCov pandemic currently in the province.  

In the dispatch, the provincial People’s Committee permitted activities of religion, education, sports, production, business, trade, services to resume the operation on August 25 with applied measures of the Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control.

Local people should avoid crowded places, wear facial mask in public places, keep at least one meter from other people and regularly wash hands with soap, hand sanitizer, etc.

However, karaoke lounges, disco bars continue the operation suspension.

The provincial People’s Committee also encouraged local people to install Bluezone apps on smart-phone devices in order to achieve efficient implementation of pandemic traceability, localization and control. 

Since July 25, Dong Nai province has recorded two Covid-19 cases. Currently, both of them have recovered and there was no infection in the community during 21 days.

Reportedly, Dong Nai province has currently 632 Buddhist monasteries and nearly 5,000 Buddhist monks and nuns attending the Summer Retreat course 2020 at the total of 32 Buddhist venues in the province.
