Religious organizations pay pre-Tet visits to Government Religious Committee

Representatives from several religious organizations extended on January 28-29 visits to the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) ahead of the traditional New Year (Tet) 2021

Delegation from Sisters of Saint Paul de Chartres Congregation in Hanoi extends Tet greetings to GCRA

The delegations from the Vietnam Missionary Church led by Pastor President Phạm Đình Nhẫn was welcomed by Director of the GCRA’s Protestant Affairs Department Thiều Thị Hương.

The delegations from the Sisters of Saint Paul de Chartres Congregation in Hanoi led by General Superior Saint-Jean de Marie Trần Thị Anh, the Vietnam Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints led by Head of the Coordination Committee Hoàng Văn Tùng and the Vietnam Assemblies of God Church were respectively welcomed by Deputy Director of the GCRA’s Catholic Affairs Department Đào Thị Đượm and Deputy Director of the GCRA’s Protestant Affairs Department Nguyễn Ngọc Bảo.

During the visiting receptions, while extending traditional New Year greetings to officials and staff of the GCRA, representatives from religious organizations took the chance to thank the GCRA for facilitating religious practices of Christian communities over the past years.

The GCRA’s officials took the chance to wish Christian dignitaries and religious people a lunar New Year of happiness and success.
