The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee, the Office of Natural Resources and Environment in Phan Rang – Thap Cham city and local religious organizations signed a three-year coordinating program for environmental protection and climate change response.
The coordinating program has been signed by representatives of five religious organizations of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Caodaism and Brahmanism in the locality.
As part of the program, the city VFF Committee, the Office of Natural Resources and local religious organizations will work together for environmental protection and climate change response through practical activities including the dissemination of state laws and action programs of the VFF on the environmental issue, updating information on current environmental situation, developing working plans and pilot models for environmental protection and climate change response by religious organizations in locality, supervising the implementation of laws on environment by organizations and individuals in business and socio-economic activities./.
