Religious organizations in Gia Lai extend Tet greetings to local authorities

Deputy Secretary of Gia Lai provincial Party’s Committee Rah Lan Chung hosted on January 25 a reception for a visiting delegation from the religious organizations of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Caodaism and Baha’i in the province, ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2022.

At the visiting reception

During the visiting reception, on behalf of the religious delegation, Most Venerable Thích Từ Vân, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s chapter in the province extended wishes of good health, happiness and success to the provincial Party’s Committee and took the chance to thank the local authorities for their favorable conditions extended to practices of religion in the province over the past years.

Speaking with the guests, Deputy Secretary Rah Lan Chung highlighted practical contribution of religious communities for the socio-economic development of Gia Lai province in the last year, and extended Tet greetings to all leaders and members of the religious organizations.

On the same day, the religious delegation also visited and extended Tet greetings to the People’s Committee, the People’s Council and the Fatherland Front Committee in the province.
