Religious dignitaries in Ba Ria – Vung Tau honored for practical contributions to public security

Two religious dignitaries in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province’s Long Dien district have been honored for outstanding contributions to public security in the province, on occasion of the 15th Anniversary of All People Protect National Security and the 75th Anniversary of the Public Security Day.  

On behalf of the provincial public security, the Fatherland front board in Long Dien district visited and presented certificates of recommendation to Nun Thích nữ Diệu Hoàng, Head of Khanh Hung Buddhist Pagoda in the district’s Phuoc Hung Commune, and Priest Jean Maria Vianney Lê Quang Tấn, Head of Phuoc Lam Catholic Parish in Phuoc Hung Commune.

During the visit, Head of the district Fatherland front board Huỳnh Minh spoke highly of practical contributions made by the Buddhist and Catholic dignitaries to public order and security in the district, and expressed hope that they would further promote their position in encouraging local Buddhists and Catholics to proactively respond to the movement calling on all people to safeguard public security and order in the locality.
