Religious committee in Thanh Hoa extends congratulations to new chapter of Vietnam Evangelical Church (Northern)

A delegation led by Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in Thanh Hoa province Hồ Việt Anh has paid a congratulatory visit to the ceremony held on January 21 for formally establishing a new chapter under the Vietnam Evangelical Church (Northern) named Pom Khuong located in Tam Chung commune of the province’s Muong Lat district.

Speaking at the event, while extending congratulations to members of the evangelical chapter of Pom Khuong, Chairman Hồ Việt Anh expressed hope that the evangelical church would continue guiding the local faithful to well implement the church’s principles and the State’s policies, and make practical contributions for sustainable development of the country.

Present in the event, Pastor Nguyễn Hữu Mạc, Vice President of the Central Evangelical Church took the chance to thank the provincial religious committee and relating agencies for paying due attention and extending favorable conditions to pastoral activities of the evangelical church over the past time.
During the event, the provincial religious committee presents 100 national flag to the Pom Khuong evangelical chapter.
On the same day, the provincial religious committee delegation visited and handed over 150 national flags to Venerable Thích Kim Tuệ, deputy head of Dai Hoa Buddhist Monastery located in Ten Tan commune of Muong Lat district, on occasion of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2024.
