A delegation of the committee for religious affairs in the central province of Ninh Thuan on March 2 visited and met with the education board of the Buddhist school of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s chapter in Ninh Thuan.
The religious committee delegation led by Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Hồng Phúc was welcomed by Venerable Thích Đồng Niệm, Deputy Head of the Buddhist school’s Executive Board.
As informed at the exchange meeting, the Buddhist school will start the 9th course with about 150 monks and nuns in September this year, and the school’s training program will include two subjects of Vietnamese History and Law that has been approved by the Government Committee for Religious Affairs in early 2020.
