Religious Committee in Lam Dong holds meeting with members of social-political associations

Lam Dong provincial Committee for Religious Affairs on October 27 hosted a meeting with key members of local social-political organizations tasked with the State administration for religious affairs.
Attending the meeting included Chairman of provincial Religious Committee Ngô Văn Đức, representative heads of provincial Veterans Association, Farmer Union, Women’s Union, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Confederation of Labor, and large numbers of core members of the organizations.
The meeting focused on exchanges of experiences in encouraging and mobilizing followers of religions to actively participate in social movements launched by local authorities, as well as to well observe state policies and laws in general, and laws on belief and religion in particular.
