The committee for religious affairs in Ha Tinh province held on June 28 a meeting to review its performance in the first half of the year 2018.
The meeting chaired by Vice Chairman of the provincial religious committee Đào Văn Hải focused on assessment of the state management on religion in the province in the first six months including the advocacy work amongst religious followers and the timely addressing of issues relating legitimate religious needs of local people. As reported, 13 out of 13 districts and cities in the province have held conferences on the implementation of the Party’s resolution No. 25 on religious affairs, the new law on belief and religions and its guiding decree No. 162
The reviewing event also approved working plans for the provincial committee in the last six months with emphases on the dissemination of the religious law and its guiding decree to local officials at all levels and religious dignitaries, deacons and followers in the locality, as well as the strengthened coordination amongst concerning departments and agencies and local authorities in the province for resolving practical and remaining issues related to religion.
