Religious committee in Gia Lai extends congratulations to new-term VBS’s provincial Executive Committee

The Religious Committee for Religious Affairs (CRA) in Gia Lai province held on November 6 a meeting with local Buddhist dignitaries newly elected to the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Chapter’s Executive Committee in Gia Lai for the 5th term (2017-2022).
During the meeting, while extending congratulations to members of the executive committee, Chairman of CRA Hồ Hải Tần urged the Buddhist members to continue promoting fine traditions, as well as encouraging local Buddhists to actively participate in emulation movements launched by the provincial authorities.
On behalf of the Buddhist executive committee, Venerable Committee Chairman Thích Từ Vân took the chance to thank the religious committee for its support and favorable conditions created to Buddhist activities in the locality and pledged to do their best for making practical contributions to the locality.
