Religious committee in Dong Nai supports construction of charitable house for disadvantaged family

The Committee for Religious Affairs in Dong Nai province in collaboration with the province’s Vinh Cuu district authorities held on September 14 a ceremony to present a charity house to a poor household in the province.
During the ceremony, the charity house was handed over to the household of Mrs. Lê Thị Gắt residing in the district’s Tri An commune.
As reported, the total cost of the charitable house is VND 95 million in which VND 60 million was contributed by the provincial religious committee and the rest provided by local authorities and Mrs Lê Thị Gắt’s family.
On the occasion, Senior Venerable Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s executive board in the district Thích Thiện Thuận, Tri An commune authorities and locals also presented gifts to the Mrs Lê Thị Gắt’s family.
