At the meeting

During the meeting, the provincial religious committee informed 40 Catholic participants representing the Catholic orders in the province the socio-economic development and religious life in the locality, as well as highlighted practical contributions made by Catholic orders in the Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control, and the development of the locality over the past years.

The meeting also had exchanges on activities of religious organizations including Catholic orders for supporting disadvantaged families and people affected by the pandemic, as well as joining the environment protection in the locality.

As reported, Dong Nai currently has 42 organizations belonging to 11 religions, with over 2.2 million religious followers, accounting for over 70 percent of the province’s population.
