The Committee for Religious Affairs in Da Nang city held on April 6 a meeting on the state management on belief, religion and ethnicity in the 1st quarter of year 2021.
Present at the event included representatives of concerning departments and agencies, and nearly 100 cadres in charge of religious affairs in the locality.
The meeting covered a brief report on the state management on belief, religion and ethnicity in the city, and exchanges on the district-level Buddhist congress in the 2021-2026 tenure, new religious phenomena, and the review of three-year implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and its guiding Decree No. 162/2017/NĐ-CP.
On the occasion, the municipal religious committee handed over 200 national flags to district-level home affairs officers for sending to religious organizations in the locality.
