Religious committee in Ca Mau authorized to handle 13 administrative procedures on belief & religion

In order to strengthen the administrative reform on belief and religion, the Committee for Religious Affairs in Ca Mau province have requested the provincial Home Affairs Department to authorize the religious affairs committee to handle 13 administrative procedures on belief and religion.

Currently, 20 administrative procedures on belief and religion under the handling competence of the Director of the Department of Home Affairs include 13 receiving procedures, four requesting procedures, three registration procedures.
The administrative procedures for notification don’t require reply from the competent authorities, only inform the implementation times by religious individuals and organizations.
After the request of the religious affairs committee, Director of the Home Affairs Department in the province on has issued Decision No. 449/QĐ-SNV on authorizing the Chairman of the religious committee in handling several administrative procedures on belief and religion. Authorized administrative procedures include notifications of ordainment, appointment and election of dignitaries, deacons and clergies, transfer of religious clerics, dismissal of religious dignitaries and deacons (not violating the law), annual conferences, etc.
