Bac Ninh provincial Committee for Religious Affairs held on April 6 a meeting for reviewing its performances in the first three months 2022 and mapping out key plans for the next quarter.
At the reviewing meeting
The event chaired by Acting Chairman of the provincial religious committee Chu Quang Hảo saw the presence of Deputy Director of the provincial Home Affairs Department Nguyễn Ngọc Thịnh, and cadres of the provincial religious committee and district-level home affairs offices in the province.
The meeting also highlighted practical contributions made by religious organizations, such as the VBS chapter in the province has been spending about 2,860 million VND on social charities for disadvantaged locals, and Bac Ninh diocese presenting Tet supports to leprosy patients and disabled children.
Regarding key tasks for the next quarter, the provincial religious committee would focus on guiding religious organizations to hold major religious events including the 2nd Vien Minh Kinh Bac Buddhist ordination conference, the 2566th Buddha’s birthday and Buddhist summer retreats, the 9th congress of the VBS chapter, Easter of Catholic and Evangelical communities, etc.
