A delegation led by Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in An Giang province Nguyễn Phú paid on October 8 working visits to three religious worshipping places in the locality.
The delegation visited the management board of Hung Chau monastery under the Vietnam Pure – Land Buddhist Association in Chau Doc city, Vinh Buu monastery under the Four Debts of Gratitude Faith in An Phu district’s Vinh Truong commune, and Mukarromah Islamic mosque in An Phu’s Khanh Binh commune.
During the visits, Chairman Nguyễn Phú spoke highly of practical contributions of the religious organizations in An Giang in general and the three worshipping places in particular, including their efforts and supports extended to the prevention work against the Covid-19 pandemic in the province.

On the occasion, the official also handed over some financial support from the state budget to the three worshipping places for upgrading worshipping facilities.
