The committee for religious affairs of the southern province of An Giang has visited and had exchanges with several religious organizations in the province for strengthening communication, solving remaining issues and difficulties related to practices of religion in the locality.
During the visit, the provincial religious committee met with representatives of the Pure-land Buddhist Association, Caodai sects of Ban Chinh Dao (Correction-path), Chon Ly (Truth) Caodai Church and Tien Thien (Ante-creation), Hieu Nghia Ta Lon Buddhist sect, and Vietnam Baptist Church in An Giang.
At visiting meetings, the provincial religious committee had exchanges on brief reports of affairs of religious organizations and religious practices of their members in 2020 and working plans for 2021, especially difficulties and recommended solutions for remaining issues.

The provincial religious committee also took the chance to highly appreciate practical contributions by religious people and organizations for socio-economic development in An Giang province, and asked local religious organizations to continue promoting fine traditions and proactively participate in the Covid-19 prevention work and the upcoming elections of deputies to the 15th Legislature of the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure.
