A delegation led by Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in An Giang province Nguyễn Phú paid on September 22 visits to prestigious Khmer people and worshipping places of Khmer Theravada Buddhism in the province, on the occasion of Sene Dolta Festival 2022.

During the visits, while extending Sene Dolta greetings to dignitaries and followers of Khmer Theravada Buddhism in the locality, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Phú also expressed hope that heads and management boards of Khmer Theravada pagodas will encourage lay Buddhists to continue well implementing preventive measures against Covid-19 pandemic, as well as actively join patriotic movements contributing to the development of the province.
Presenting notebooks and pens to My A pagoda
On the occasion, the provincial religious committee presented 200 notebooks and 80 pens to My A pagoda in the province’s Tinh Bien district for the teaching of Pali language to Buddhist monks.
